Hailing from Dallas, Texas, THIRTYSEVEN are the kind of band you almost wish you’d never heard… ’cause after one listen, their songs will be the soundtrack in your head for weeks to come. Crafting a unique, yet contemporary style of music that draws on both their hardcore roots and love of pop-punk, THIRTYSEVEN give you just enough of each to keep you wanting more. As if writing such catchy songs wasn’t enough, they have taken it upon themselves to tour relentlessly (including backing Mike Herrara for a MxPx set), spreading their infectious melodies to the ends of the Earth… or at least coast-to-coast. All this from just three dudes. Color us impressed.
Their self-released demo showed extreme promise, but it’s not until their newest effort, This Is What I Want, out August 9th via Blood & Ink Records, that THIRTYSEVEN prove they’re ready to take on the world of pop-punk. This Is What I Want recalls both the infectious harmonies and shenanigans of influences MxPx and New Found Glory, while still offering their own unique twist on the style. Don’t sleep on this band, as THIRTYSEVEN are sure to make waves in the coming year.
