We are very excited to announce the addition of two great bands to the Blood & Ink family: Comrades and With Increase!

Comrades hail from the same city we call home, Richmond, VA, and offer up great (mostly) instrumental jams while also delivering an unparalleled genuineness on and off the stage. B&I is releasing Collection: 2010-2011 as a digital anthology with selections from their previously self-released material over the past two years. The band is also currently writing for a full length to be released on B&I in early 2012.

With Increase, hailing from Tampa, FL, are among a new breed actively picking up the torch of Spirit-filled hardcore. On their debut EP, Signs Of The Time, they demonstrate their incredible talent for balancing a melodic hardcore intensity with something more raw and, at times, almost desperate. The result finds the band clearly drawing influences from contemporaries, yet still creating a sound uniquely their own.

Both releases are available immediately via the B&I Bandcamp here and will be available via iTunes, Amazon, etc. on 11/15.

Thin Ice will be embarking on a 10 day Southwest tour with Rite Of Passage / Mediaskare band Darasuum (featuring ex-members of xDeathstarx) in December… the tour even includes a date in Tijuana, Mexico!

We are very excited to announce that The Attending have joined the Blood & Ink Records family!

Started as a solo project by Corey Stroffolino (ex-Life In Your Way) and recording off and on over nearly 2 years, The Attending evolved into a full-fledged band and offer Are You Watching Closely? as their debut release (out 11/22 via B&I). These seven songs capture the band’s dynamic balance of indie sensibilities with more catchy rock elements, all topped off with intriguing lyrics.  Are You Watching Closely? was recorded by Greg Thomas (Shai Hulud, Hostage Calm, Ambitions), mastered by Alan Douches, and features artwork by Charlie Wagers of Three Bears Design (Cool Hand Luke, Giants, Gifts From Enola).

This one’s been a long-time coming…  We are extremely happy to announce that Blood & Ink Records has teamed with Chicago, IL based band The Satire to digitally release their new self-titled EP.  Chaotic and energetic, this EP documents one of the craziest bands around.  We have been friends with these guys for years now and it’s awesome to finally be able to work with them.

The EP is available for download and streaming now via Bandcamp here and will be released via iTunes, Amazon, etc. next Tuesday, October 25th.
