VENIA JOINS BLOOD & INK ROSTER

It's with great pleasure that we announce the newest addition to the Blood & Ink family: VENIA! Hailing from Minnesota, this hardcore powerhouse caught our attention with their intense music and thought-provoking lyrics. They recently self-released their debut album, Convictions (available from our webstore) and if it's any indication of what's to come, we can't wait.

Alabama's hardcore favorites ALL IN have just added a new song from the forthcoming album Team U.S.A. to their Myspace page. The honesty and passion this album contains has been blowing our minds since first hearing the songs, so we are excited for everyone to finally get a sampling. Team U.S.A. will hit streets on September 23rd, but check back soon as we'll be offering a pre-order special within the next couple of weeks.

B&I AT TAKING BACK THE STREETS IN NC

SNS PREORDER NOW ONLINE + TOUR DATES!

We're very excited to finally have the preorder for the next album from Saints Never Surrender up. Entitled Brutus, the album could easily be called their best to date and it's been hard not to get overly excited since first hearing the songs in their demo form. Although the official street date for the CD isn't until July 15th, you can preorder it right now in our webstore. Also, check out the song "Protector" from Brutus on the SNS Myspace.

It's also great to be entering the Summer and to see so many of the B&I affiliated bands on the road! Swing over to the TOURS section of our site as a good portion of the bands have lengthy tours coming up soon.

We're very happy to finally announce the signing of Alabama's ALL IN. For those unfamiliar with this awesome band, they've been tearing up the Southern hardcore scene for a few years now and released their debut album in 2006 on Hand Of Hope Records. They are about finished with their sophomore album that we'll be releasing this Summer. It's going to be killer for sure.

We're very proud to announce that we've signed Florida's SEND OUT SCUDS to the label. After being completely floored by their performance at Cornerstone Florida 2007, we knew it had to happen. Their brand of ska/punk/rock might be a little different for us, yet we think they're so talented that our fans will agree it was a good decision.

THE RECESSION VIDEO TO PREMIERE ON TVU

Omaha, Nebraska's technical/metallic hardcore outfit THE RECESSION will have their video for "Masterpiece Theatre" premiere on TVU this coming weekend. The video is scheduled to air during the Battery show, which starts Saturday night at 8:00pm on TVU.

"Masterpiece Theatre" appears on THE RECESSION's debut full length, Time, Arithmetic & Other Elementary Subjects Not Well Learned, which was released in September on Blood & Ink Records.

The video for "Masterpiece Theatre" can also be viewed online via YouTube.

BLOOD & INK SIGNS THE RED BARON

Blood & Ink Records is proud to announce the signing of THE RED BARON. Florida has long been known as fertile ground for hardcore, but few bands have incorporated spirit-filled straight edge beliefs into heartfelt music like THE RED BARON. Striving to keep music fun, positive, and honest, this five piece have built a name for themselves over the past few years with relentless touring demonstrating their great live show to audiences across North America.

THE RED BARON previously released a split CD with xBISHOPx (Ferret Music) and will be entering Viking Studio in Richmond, VA later this year to record their debut full length, due out in early 2008. The band will also be announcing extensive future tour plans shortly.

BESIEGED PART WAYS WITH VOCALIST

Michigan's BESIEGED have announced the departure of vocalist Mattie Montgomery from their line-up. Montgomery, who joined the band earlier this year just in time to record vocals for the band's debut album Atlantis, has left on amicable terms to pursue other musical endeavors.

The band released the following statement:

"Mattie Montgomery, our vocalist, has decided to pursue musical goals that are differing from those of the rest of the band. Mattie has been a great addition to BESIEGED, and, more importantly, he has been a great friend to all of us."
