YOURS FOR MINE POST NEW SONG

With the release of their debut full-length Dear Children quickly approaching, YOURS FOR MINE have posted a second song on their Myspace page. Not surprisingly, the Harrisonburg, Virginia outfit has already been receiving strong positive responses from those who have heard the recording or checked out the previously posted track online.

Dear Children will be available on CD from the band during their December tour and will be distributed digitally (iTunes, SmartPunk, etc.) by Blood & Ink Records starting January 13th.

Okay, so we know it's more than half a year away, but we're excited... and who can blame us! Two bands from the Blood & Ink Records family, SAINTS NEVER SURRENDER and VENIA, have been confirmed among the first batch of announced bands for the Sonshine Festival 2009. Held during July in Willmar, Minnesota, the festival has always been heralded by fans and bands alike as one of the best events of the year.

Although YOURS FOR MINE technically did not form until 2006, the five members of this Harrisonburg, Virginia band have been creating music together in various groups for much longer. This long-time familiarity with one another has helped to foster their tight-knit and focused approach to music that has most recently culminated in their debut full-length, Dear Children. Recorded by Caleb Keiter (Death Cab For Cutie, Queens Of The Stone Age) and mastered by Kim Rosen (Radio 4, Franz Ferdinand, Dashboard Confessional, Jeremy Enigk) at West West Side Music, this album encapsulates the energy and creative foresight YOURS FOR MINE has sought in their music since their inception. We're very excited to finally have the preorder for the next album from Saints Never Surrender up. Entitled Brutus, the album could easily be called their best to date and it's been hard not to get overly excited since first hearing the songs in their demo form. Although the official street date for the CD isn't until July 15th, you can preorder it right now in our webstore. Also, check out the song "Protector" from Brutus on the SNS Myspace.

It's also great to be entering the Summer and to see so many of the B&I affiliated bands on the road! Swing over to the TOURS section of our site as a good portion of the bands have lengthy tours coming up soon.

We're very happy to finally announce the signing of Alabama's ALL IN. For those unfamiliar with this awesome band, they've been tearing up the Southern hardcore scene for a few years now and released their debut album in 2006 on Hand Of Hope Records. They are about finished with their sophomore album that we'll be releasing this Summer. It's going to be killer for sure.

We're very proud to announce that we've signed Florida's SEND OUT SCUDS to the label. After being completely floored by their performance at Cornerstone Florida 2007, we knew it had to happen.
