Nothing Til Blood originally started playing shows as Aim For The Day and, after a self-released EP and touring nationwide, their musical direction changed to a heavier approach so the band changed their name to Nothing Til Blood. Musically the band draws influences from hardcore and metal and combines their sound with an energetic live show. They recorded "When Lambs Become Lions" with engineer Jamie King and Dave Quiggle handled the artwork and layout for the release.
